What would you like to see on this blog?

I'd like to update this blog at least once or twice a week, but with how busy I am, it's a little hard to cover things not posted in the pages along the top. So what would you like to see? Articles and thoughts on vandwelling, recipes, etc? More products in the store?

Leave a comment below and let me know!

  1. I would like to see more technical information and 'how-to's for the novice vandweller.

  2. I really found your store and post about the Charger/inverter thing very helpful. It's pricey ($416) but it seems to be a simple solution. I would love to see more posts about electrical stuff - how to pick a house battery, how to wire it, what the basics of power are etc. I don't need much - since I use LED lights, the round click on ones you can get anywhere for $10. I usually charge my laptop wherever I eat, or at the library etc. I use it at night to check mail or watch a movie and it'd be nice to have power for that. I'm thinking of getting a trucker's low watt microwave to quick heat soups and water for tea. I use an ice chest, so no fridge/freezer YET, but boy it would be nice to know how to keep THAT powered when the time comes. I have searched and searched for basic, really basic stuff and it's all way over my head. I just want a simple, "here's what to buy, how to hook it up etc. and things you should know about 12V systems..." All the stuff on Amazon is written for hobby electricians, not people who know ZIP about 12v or electrical. I mean, I found a Youtube video that showed me HOW to change out the light fixture in my stick house without an hour's explanation about what electricity is and how it works....Just....disconnect power...remove this and that, twist these wires together, wire nut and turn power back on....one, two, three. Like, I'd love to see you say, "Okay, if you run a, b, and c, or aren't sure what you need, MOST vandwellers use/need 125 watts and this is how you hook up a 125 watt system. Do a, b, c. Does that make sense? Thanks!
